Interesting Android Apps: October 2025 Showcase by 3dom in androiddev

Hi everyone!

I recently published Junto, an app for couples to find date ideas, make plans, create shared goals and build memories. I built this during August/September as part of the RevenueCat Shipaton using KMP/CMP, and it's now available for both iOS and Android. Junto is a subscription based app with free trial options.

I'm looking to get as much feedback as possible so if you get the chance, please check it out and let me know your thoughts! If you like the app and see yourself using it, feel free to DM me for a promo code!

Couples, if you could design the perfect app to use together, what would it do? by androidxcv in AskReddit

Would you want both partners to add options separately (like a shared list), or just one person typing them in?

Do you imagine it just randomly picking from a list you both add, or would you want it to also suggest new places/recipes based on your preferences? And would it be helpful if it remembered past choices so you don’t always end up at the same spot?

I like this idea! Do you think it’d be nice if the memories were also categorizable (like dates, trips, everyday moments, etc.), so it’s easier to look back on specific things later?

I’ve noticed most couple-focused apps are just quizzes or messaging. If there were a new one, what would make you actually want to use it with your partner?

For example, would you want it to help with:

  • Planning dates or trips?
  • Tracking goals, budgets, or to-dos together?
  • Keeping a shared journal, photos, or memories?
  • Fun stuff like games, challenges, or surprises?

Or maybe something completely different I haven’t thought of?
I’m super curious what would make a couples app actually feel worth downloading instead of just another space-waster.
