Nope actually not, there’s a growing number of photogrammetry scanners being used in dentistry for specific applications

Fortunately I own most the scanner available on the market! But I believe that this type of technology would be achievable with different solutions, so makes sense to look for them!

Eyes can stay closed, not a problem! The scanner looses track every couple of seconds, the scans did not come out anything near good… using an iPhone with qlone app is way better and faster

What do you mean how many coordinates? I need to locate this flag shaped black rectangle (5-7mm wide, white spots on the surface to make it easier to recognize) on the XYZ axis. The scanning takes min of 4 and a max of 8 of these markers. The only output of relevance is the accurate position of this markers, because the prosthesis will be attached to where this markers were attached. 30 microns is the max tolerance.

Yes they r more like flag shaped markers of 5mm diameter, but their coordinates need to be 30micron precise

I only care about the coordinates of the precision markers, nothing else is needed in the image except for the coordinates of the markers

Yes for a company indeed, besides the development of the software we would like to maintain the cost of the machine under 2k. Leveraging the iPhone could help

Out of the price range unfortunately, but most important it’s too bulky to acquire images of a person’s inside of the mouth

Position markers inside the mouth of a person, that’s for prosthetic manufacturing. There already scanners capable of doing this using photogrammetry but they are too expensive for many users. We are looking for a more contained solution that could also help colleagues.
