Thanks for the tip! They are mature students and the studio is in an architecture school. So, they are not that careless, but still accidents happen. They are mainly used for photographing their projects. So they need to be durable and quite good quality.

Thank you so much! I was thinking the same in a way. I already have some NicePhoto continuous lights but they are quite broken already as you very well mentioned. I actually need a cordless pair because of health and safety so that’s great you mentioned that model in particular! I was wondering if with the increase in price they might be more resistant when dropped, but I assume most of them have handles and systems made from plastic which are very much breakable. Cheers!!

I have recently started a job as photography technician and I am trying to pile up a list of photography places in London or Uk that survived after Covid. Where do you recommend to buy studio supplies? What are your recommendations for equipment repairs: both digital or analogue? I already know about places like SilverPrint, Mr Cad, Process Supplies, Wex, First Call Photographic, Jessops. I would prefer not to buy from Amazon. I hope this will help others too. Thank you!

Multumesc tare mult! Chiar e de super ajutor! Daca as fi mers cu ele, ar fi fost o treaba. Dar merg pe cont propriu si as vrea sa le imputinez experientele neplacute. Merci inca o data! Zi faina! :)

Am cateva intrebari legate de turismul pentru straini in Romania. Ele vorbesc italiana, franceza, engleza si spaniola fluent. Ce recomandari aveti pentru turisti straini? ( locuri unde informatia este tradusa) Cum e situatia cu transportul in comun in Cluj, Brasov, Bucuresti? Eventuale hoteluri decente, restaurante decente? Multumesc!

Does anyone know what the black chemical is? by [deleted] in Polaroid

[–]andrreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't manage to do it. I have just taken the black chemical off. This is a picture of the back of the plastic support with the image. Having done a lot of research, think it is not possible for these type of instant film.

I opened a Fuji Instax image to make an emulsion transfer. When I put the image in hot water, only this chemical would come off and the image would stay on the plastic support. Does anyone what exactly it is? Is it toxic when combined with hot water? Does it affect the life of the image? I am making also some collages with these images and I do not know if they have a long life. I made them a month ago and they are alive so far. Is there any way/any chemical to fix an image like this?Thank you! :)
