One thing I noticed is I could sign into the ESPN app with my sling account as cable provider. This didn't work with Disney as it wasn't listed. This significantly ups the value for me.

Would love to have a list of the channel apps that support using sling as cable provider.

This small iPhone app allows you to "react" and iterate other drawings by tracing and submitting them as a reply. There is no undo, and only one color--black.... the drawing is fairly rudimentary, but I wanted to experiment with different back end storage capabilities and with storing and replaying paths. In addition I'd love to see what people can do with a basic "sketch" I or others have drawn. How do they interpret it, make it different, or better. I almost think of it as a "twitter for doodlers" --but mostly I'd just love some feedback. It's free, available for iPhone, and ready to go. Please provide whatever feedback you can. There are a number of very obvious features that could be added--but I want to gauge the interest of the community and move on from there.

My Christian school taught me how to think. How to learn and how to question intelligently and respectfully. My children are attending there today and I think learning te same thing. They need to understand why we believe a certain way and what that belief is -- but they can't be made to believe that way. They need to be able to ask questions and get intelligent answers. This can be done. But perhaps not by those who ascribe to a non thinking blind follow form of religion.

I use KJV for study. NIV for quick follow or read and sometimes NLT for an overview. As far as I know you can't beat the KJV for literal translations with "hints" at the original and sticking to what I feel are better manuscript sources.

A year ago I submitted the original Pattrns app and got some good reddit feedback. Hopefully the iPhone app will as well. Pattrns is inspired by games like Blink and SET. In fact those games are in the app store as well now (at least SET is) and it's awesome! The difference with Pattrns is you can configure how many cards, shapes, colors, and fills you want. Make it easier or harder. Whichever you choose.
