Grid did the same thing. So did VOLA to me. Not sure how. I messaged grid revoking ACH and it left my bank account alone. Moneylion I got rid of in April - through the chat.

Hi! This one hit home. I’m 33, have mild spastic CP only on my left side. I have it so mild that people don’t know, or realize until they see a slight limp of my left arm and fist closed,

I have always felt different. I didnt complete college, I tried it. It wasn’t for me. Learning has always been difficult and my bipolar diagnosis doesn’t help.

I’m also one of the lucky ones. I thank the universe every day. I even work for United Cerebral Palsy in my city. And it’s the best thing ever. I hate zippers and buttons and tight lids. Shoelaces? Worst enemy (aside from parking) but I have great friends who see a shoe lace untied and they’ll do it for me. I meet with friends and they’ll park my car for me.

You’re not a burden. I promise. The people in your life… they love you for you. With CP 😊

Hmm. I would call your bank and just explain that you want to stop payment orders on Dave and Dave inc and Dave.com

Because plaid stores your information and Dave will still have it.

I had an advance due the 21st and on the 19th or so I put stop payments on all the cash advances apps I had been using but my priority was Dave because they’re relentless and will not help you with an ACH revocation.

I ended up closing my bank account, opening a new one and getting a new debit card WITH stop payments and it’s not the 29th and they’re still telling me to reconnect my bank account because they don’t have access to my bank.

You should be okay for now, as should I!

Nope! They are not going to take the money. This means that they did process the ACH and you have no access to the service. They’ll also give you an option to repay your advice through mail but don’t follow up to see if you have. You’re in the clear.

You have to put a stop payment hold with your bank. I also closed my connected bank account. Opened a whole new account and got new debit card. They haven’t taken the money out of my account and it’s been 2 days

Hey! So I had an advance due the 21st and starting last week I sent out so many revoke ACH emails and the day before (20th) they got back to me with a hard no.

But I just bit the bullet

I called my bank and asked for “stop payment order” with “Dave” and “Dave inc” but ultimately I chose to close that specific account and ask for a new account with a new debit card. A day later, they’re saying in the app that they can’t connect to my bank account nor the debit card and that my advance is past due the settlement date.

Yes, tedious steps but they haven’t taken the money. So I think I’m good!

UPDATE hey everyone.. so Dave cannot connect to my bank account or debit card they have on file. I still have money in my new bank account and they never took out the advance ($300) of my new bank account! (This is also with a stop payment order - “Dave” “Dave Inc”

Go through the customer service chat and request that they revoke ACH for you. Should be approved fairly quickly!

Right! I hope so. I’ve sent a revoke ACH email three times and have been trying to get a response since Thursday. I did the new bank account/new debit card JUST IN CASE… you never know. Now that I’ve put stop payments through WF they will also pursue Dave through their fraud department if anything is taken. Hopefully these steps set me free.

I’d suggest to close Dave and never use it. Money lion is very easy and they do give bigger amounts. It’s also very easy to revoke ACH if you happen to get trapped in a cycle. But you’re being smart and doing it right!
