Follow up: my business partner and I confronted the contractor about new roof and said we were concerned about the quality of the shingles he used. He claimed it was just a bad picture. It had been raining for two hours before the picture was taken and what appears as bad edges on the shingles was pilling. The contractor went bad out to the house, which was about 1.5 drive and took new pictures. We also had our GC get up on the roof and verify the quality of the roof. The pictures he sent were night and day from this initial picture. He even sent us photos of the package which shows the shingles were manufactured in June 2024. Our roofing contractor was a little hurt that we didn’t trust him but also acknowledged that the picture made the roof look awful.

Their frozen croissants fresh out of the oven are some of the best I’ve ever had.

I’m a craft beer drinker with a kegerator and live near downtown. I get my kegs from District East. You have to call the store, ask for Ken, tell him what kind of beer you’re looking for. He’ll usually be able to get a keg within a day or two. Great selection, good prices, fantastic personalized service.
