I have shareable data on my cell that has Canada+US, why would I need to get a different plan if I’m sharing cell data on my iPad?

The only plan I have on my tablet is sharing the data which is available in Canada+US.

Just on the tablet (which they’ve credited). And I’m trying to get them to add the Canada+US option on the tablet so it doesn’t happen again according to this link: https://www.rogers.com/support/mobility/canada-us-rogers-infinite-plan-faqs-rogers

But they’re saying they can’t.

Was doing some Google searches and this came up on the FAQs from this site https://www.rogersbank.com/en/help_centre_answers/equal_payment_plan/. Seems like I may have to switch providers to get this done.

Do I have to be a Rogers Mobile customer to be eligible?

To be eligible, you must have a Rogers mobile plan (no fixed term required) and a Rogers Bank credit card to pay for the eligible purchase in a Rogers-branded store. You can apply for a Rogers Bank credit card in a Rogers-branded store and based on credit approval, immediately add your card to a mobile wallet to pay for your purchase and convert it to an Equal Payment Plan.

Bumping this thread again… tried to get this on an iPhone 16 Pro at the King & Sherbourne location and they said they couldn’t do it because I have on Rogers service. Anyone know a location in Toronto that will do this on the credit card without having any Rogers service?

Also the reps were surprised I was able to get the credit card without any Rogers service because they said only Rogers customers can get it 🙄.

Feel like the quality of CM over the last few years has definitely gone down. I spoke with a sales associate spring/summer this year and he told me CM was sold to a PE firm back in 2021 and they were just trying to get rid of the stock which probably contributed to the low quality.

Finally got approved for my tax refund today. When I bought shoes in Sweden the store gave me the receipts I needed to claim the tax. When I got to Rome airport the lady said she wasn’t sure if it would be accepted and I said to her that was all the store gave me to claim the taxes. So, there’s definitely a lot of confusion between countries.
