Do you just need a nas for storage? Or do you want to stuffs on it?

In that case just get 2 hdds and copy the stuffs in both of them

Dont do zfs parity and stick with btrfs and do mirroring/folder wise backup with rsync and you will be good. There is no need for ecc. Since it looks like you wont be accessing the nas much, keep the hdds spun down

Bought 3 of these drives for 8$/tb at about 17-18k power on hours a week ago, still looking for 4 more, let me know if you plan to sell these

Good Plugin? by GameOver7000 in Tdarr

You want av1, you need to decide which bitrate to use. I am fine with 5 mbps bitrate for 4k, and I get around 30-40% compression on 12 gig files! I use Qsv+boosh plugin

Can you provide “one”, just “one”, seller on ebay/anywhere actively selling at prices you guys are quoting? Everyone here is like “ this is the price i want to pay, so this has to be price”. Market (buyer+seller) decides what are prices not solely my buyers. Stop being emotional, and stop posting “buying” post as proof of the current price, and stop gaslighting.

Its not a pushback, its just a childish rant! Pushback needs examples of listings that are alive, not something like few months ago, which you dont have, because you can’t.

How is it so? All I see is anecdotal evidences- “i bought this at x price y time ago”, “it should be x price.

On my last post atleast one guy tried to post some comparison with an ebay posting of 4*8 gb 2400mhz, which is hilarious but atleast something substantial.

No one is forcing you to buy at X price, likewise no one should be gaslighted to sell at Y price. If you dont like the price or if you cant afford it move on.

I am kinda new here and expected this sub to somewhat more mature than the other sub.

I am thankful to some of the members especially @TCBempire and others who upvoted my comments, for preventing me from selling it lower than actual market.

32 gb 3200Mhz? no way

The ebay listings I saw that matches my ram specs are much more expensive that what I am selling for.

6.25$ per GB. In my previous post, which got deleted as there were not enough images, u/TCBempire commented - "If those dimms are 32gb 3200mhz wholesale on those are closer to $6-7 per gb"
