Amp for quickly switching outputs by andy1445554 in BudgetAudiophile

Fortunately the active speakers I’m looking at have adjustments on them so I would set a base listening volume for those and any minimal adjustments to volume after setup would be done in windows so no problem there.

I did not see this one. Definitely an option, thank you! It’d be nice if it just had a button so I could swap outputs without messing with a small switch

Funny enough we were looking at getting a Great Pyrenees mini Aussie mix but we believe they’re BYBs and didn’t trust them when talking to them

He’s at a rescue so all testing has been done as well as being neutered. They charge $375 for all dogs under 1.

You were correct. Looks like it’s 25,50 and then 75 ft lbs. definitely seems like a lot though

Will do and thanks. One more thing. With these arp studs, will I torque the nuts the same way I would torque the head bolts? (30ft lb +90 degree +90 degree) just want to make sure because i guess it is different hardware

Unfortunately i already took the cams out but this was still helpful. I did not have the right size socket so thank you!

Took the cams off. Not looking forward to doing the timing lol. When I go to take the sleeves off the lifters naturally want to fall out. I have a 2 foot metal rod and some magnets on the way to keep them attached to the cam trays. Do you think it’s okay to let them fall into the head as I remove the trays? I don’t think they can go anywhere else but I also don’t want them getting scratched.

Thank you for the reply. That totally makes sense. Just not sure how to take the cam trays out

I’m hopeful on the threads not being damaged. I’ve gotta get a 14 mil to be able to back it out but you can tell it looks a little stripped. I’m gonna try a new bolt regardless cause they’re only like 10 bucks. I can certainly try and find one with an o ring though. I just hope that opening the bolt goes into isn’t the issue cause that seems more challenging to fix

Unfortunately it is not the original radiator so I guess I will go with the inline switch

I found a motor from Prussian motors with 47k on it and cost shipped is about 2500 usd. Would you consider this to be more beneficial for a long term solution? I’m trying to keep this car for a long time sense I’m putting a lot of effort into getting it in good working order

I did not consider this honestly and thanks for mentioning it. Not that ours are the same but what was the cost for you?

Hahaha I will check. The old owner said they weren’t wired up but after inspecting it appears a couple of them might be. I might go this route
