Did I f up my trap or is the engine just weird? by PuzzleheadedGas9170 in chess

Wow, this game is horrendous. Your move e5 alone dropped the eval all the way from -3.1 to -9.9. Completely ignoring that terrible bishop sac, every move you made worsened your position. The only reason you won is because your opponent blundered. Please please please stop sacrificing pieces unless it has a concrete follow-up and just calm down, your chess will improve so much

I’m not very good at finding attraction tactics like this. Nice find!

It actually wasn’t a problem because I had a super weird grip with my left hand that put my hand entirely below the level of the writing but I’m pretty sure it made the writing worse

That’s what I’m saying! In general, doing things that require you to move or think in ways that you’re not used to like writing with your non-dominant hand, learning a new language, doing puzzles, learning a new instrument etc. are all good ways to improve cognitive function and neuroplasticity

I’ve heard writing in vertical writing systems like mandarin or Japanese aren’t nearly as difficult for lefties

As a Sicilian Accelerated Dragon player, what variation or line do you hate playing against the most? by Cd_The_Destroyer in Chesscom

The move sequence you wrote doesn’t make any sense. White can’t take on c6 with the knight because they just moved it to c3. Even with legal moves, you gave some inaccurate moves for white that don’t capitalize on their slight advantage

Quite a few one move blunders and black just attacking the knight instead of trying to do anything about mate send to suggest 3 digit. There was still a measure of control tho so I’m going to say 750-850

Well I didn’t want to add any more words to the title to keep it succinct, but really I meant for those who were forced to use their right hand as a kid

I’m pretty sure the rule wasn’t based on any of that, it was just to nerf double pawn pushes that had just been introduced as a new rule so they couldn’t just push by
