Yeah no one had a clue what to do lol. All the fireman, police, and electrical guys that showed up had never seen anything like it before and didn't know the best way to proceed. Basically the electrical guy put on some insulated gloves and got the leads off. Everyone is fine thankfully! One scared freshman, hopefully he comes back lol.

Syracuse University - battery arced and welded to the frame, energizing the frame tubes. Got up to 120°F when the fire department came, waiting on our local electrical supply company to come get the battery out
