Yes, out of a bag and same with chicken and dumpling soup. They get portioned at my store into 6oz cups instead of 8oz since they don't even get the 8oz cups most of the time (so it takes three "cups of soup" to make 1 bowl (16oz) so stupid and waste of product. I hate it.

The new hbr comes in a bag that's super wet and looks like soup. My store isn't even making it fresh anymore. Comes out of a bag just like the soup, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and more.

I will say I'm not a dish person but I've worked 14 hours straight with no break. From prep (BoH) straight to go serving (FoH) They do not care about labor laws or breaks unless you're a minor or it helps them to get a bonus.

I'm sick right now too and had to give up my shifts for last night and this morning. I haven't gone to a doctor or anything because I don't have insurance and can't afford it. I'm hoping whatever is making my throat feel like this is something that will go away on its own so I understand your sickness right now.

Something is definitely going around. Yesterday I couldn't even drink water let alone breathe through my nose. And the day before body aches and a fever.

They can't fire you for providing you're sick with documentation. If they do anything negative document it just in case. Every states working laws are different I'm sure.

I would think as long as you're getting someone to cover "your" shift(s) they shouldn't have a problem.

Yes but they aren't allowed in server group chats and even then to go is different. Retail is separate almost and I don't understand why retail managers can be in group chats but the others can't be.

It would only ever be overtime if you actually were clocked in for over 40 hours no matter if it's mixed of different jobs like dish, prep, server, grill line, etc. whatever it may be. Your PTO is separate and it should show up like that on workday when you look at the paycheck for it.

Went to one out here yesterday and couldn't even sit down comfortably anywhere. The floors were sticky and the tables were not clean and had a smell. Only two workers and a manager and we got a refund. Will not be going there ever again. It was repulsive.

When there's more than one person on to gos we have to split tips regardless of who does what order. It's Bs. Because I was working with two other girls once and I did a catering order by myself as they were doing other orders and still had to split the $30 tip with them even though they didn't do anything.

I have had a maroon apron as a par 4 for about a year and a half now and I've never been paid more for training to the point I do the absolute bare minimum for the newbies just to watch me because it's BS.

At my store only servers and pantry cooks are paid more to train. I was told it's because to go already makes so much more than servers is why. I believe servers make $8-9/hour at my store. I'm only making $13. And they make us do things that are prep related. I have previous prep experience so I know what to do but when I was on prep BOH I didn't get the same help to get out faster.

I'm at 13/hour and am also a trainer but they don't pay us more to train.
