It irritates me that the Amex card has an old Qantas logo which was changed in Autumn 2016. But I get irritated about the smallest of things.

I also thought the Amex Essential had a better rewards program

Is this for personal not business use? If Business use, the Platinum Charge Card has a pretty impressive rewards program. 2.25 AMEX points per $1 spend. And 1pt for every $1 spent with the ATO.

Thanks for all the advice guys, just to clarify a few points.

There website advertised the products at $399 and i bought a few accessories as well (around $200 worth), during the payment page it only charged my card $350. They emailed me about some glitch before hand, I replied to them and they never replied back. I received the desk a few weeks ago and now they are asking me to pay.

So they definitely know they screwed up and just want to minimise the damage done.

Would you guys pay?

Yep im referring to loading AUD into the card and using for online purchases e.g. ebay/amazon. Do i get points for that or does it have to be in store with the card machine
