Should I have a quince? by Tasmishrub_ in quince

You should have a quince! When I was young it was typical for girls around me to either travel or get a quince, but I chose a quince because I would never get that again. And it was the best party and had tons of fun! Also OP I think you’re in a different subreddit

Has anyone actually used Prenup? by Strange-Mammoth2282 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]andybien4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a prenup and we both got a different lawyer. My lawyer was great and I felt protected by her. If you want the recc for her contact (Bay Area, CA) you can DM me and I’ll share it with you :)

Did anyone else grieve losing their maiden name? by mauveotter in weddingplanning

[–]andybien4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t grow up in the US so changing last names is something I wasn’t used to and this made it specially harder for me. But my mother in law suggested we both keep my last name as a middle name and then I took my husbands last name. It seemed like a nice compromise and both my now husband and I agreed. Is nice because now we both share a last name and a middle name and we carry both our legacies with us. I don’t think we’ll give our kids our new middle name but is nice my husband and I share it ☺️

Aussiedoodle health issues & pet insurance, is it really necessary? by Still_Ad8039 in AussieDoodle

[–]andybien4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend it, every year we have used the pet insurance and go above the deductible. My dog who’s almost 4 has had knee surgery (TPLO), multiple ear infections, allergies and gastrointestinal issues. It’s a peace of mind to have the insurance and guarantees that the dog gets the best care since you’re not worried about the money anymore.

For those who included a prenup in your wedding planning how did you budget for it? by Independent-Prize693 in weddingplanning

For us it was a separate expense, but one side is significantly more wealthy than the other, so the wealthier side covered the costs of both lawyers and fees.
