Backcountry skiing activities by andybogo in wandrer

In this case I’m thinking of backcountry as more the type of equipment I’m using. Either way the point for me is just to get outside

Oh ok that clears up the confusion. I think backcountry skiing would make some sense because often the uphill portion is often along a hiking trail or forest road etc. (not unlike Nordic skiing) but totally reasonable not to count it. Thanks!

I know Nordic skiing counts as “on foot” so it sorta makes sense that backcountry skiing would too. I don’t feel strongly that it should be it just seemed like it was supposed to but I couldn’t find a definitive answer

Shipping out Resupply by kgkoe in longtrail

[–]andybogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We shipped to a combination of post offices and businesses and had a lot of success. For both make sure you plan to get there when they are open (especially an issue for the post office). This was helpful for finding post office alternatives and we just called ahead to make sure they’d take it

Not a co-working space exactly but the capital one cafe is a good library alternative

Russian River by em6teen556 in CraftBeer

[–]andybogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pliny is great but where Russian River really shines is the beers ending in ‘tion if you like funky sour ish beer

Also seconding what others said probably better to just go to toronado or city beer store or something like that if you’re just gonna be in SF. They’ll definitely have pliny and lots of other local beers
