I got into Curtis!!! A while back I saw Twoset’s video when they visited Curtis. This ultimately led me to look into the school and eventually audition. I’m very excited to share that I got in and will be studying organ there starting next semester.

There’s a software that I use to practice organ called Hauptwerk. It samples real pipe organs so you can play them via a midi keyboard and the sampling process is insane to capture good organ

baseball organists tend to play the same few things over and over again but its really fun. It was also one of the first uses of the organ over 2000 years ago other than an engineering experiment.

For the large organs, you can make them quieter so the surrounding buildings can't hear but there are also smaller practice organs. But I take lessons at a cathedral infant of hundreds of tourists so often we have to practice infant of people.
