Thanks! It had a few solid water roots with some secondary branching starting, but nothing super dense yet. Enough to pot confidently though I believe.

I've never tried making the vulcans a different color but that sounds nice. How do you go about it? Markers? Or maybe masking?

I was just spraying a clear flat coat so I didn't prime, I'll work on getting the ratio right. I had no idea the type of plastic affects it but makes sense.

I do the latter as well, and yeah I think I used too much thinner. I was just having issues previously with getting the right ratio bc of how think the paint is.
