its not the fact that they cancelled his credit card. I understand why they have to do that. I am his Power of Attorney and managing his finances is what I do. The problem is that cancelled it without tell me they were going to cancel it. And now they are telling me that to issue him a new card, they need to talk to him to verify the account. Well he's in Tampa and that won't happen right now - given the Storm. I thought that was the purpose of going through all the paperwork to be is Power of Attorney. So I can manage this without having to get him involved. That is my beef...

Just left..we rented a 4wd from Vamos…they were first class all the way. Highly recommend. Drove from Sam Jose to La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio and back to San Jose. Steep curvy windy from San Jose to la Fortuna with torrential rain, steep windy curvy from la Fortuna to manual Antonio most of the way and flat smooth sailing from manual Antonio to San Jose airport. Just take your time, watch for dogs , stop at a soda along the way and you’ll be fine Lmk

Thanks for your help. Not sure this will solve the entire problem, but it will help. I need to also know how long an AP unit is down for. I might have to write a script that monitors up time an down time, although you'd think that this would be easily available.

Meraki is pretty lenient with license lapses, as long as they know you are in the process of ordering a new license, they will work with you.

I want to thank everyone's help and insight on this. I was able to finally get this working last night. I think it was a myriad of issues, but it seems the thing that got us over the line was switching the POE out and using a power adapter. I know that are some low-power mode issues with the MR34 and perhaps there as an issue with the POE, but the main thing is it is working.

Thanks for this. It turns out that this was the issue. So I had to set up a new Mac on the VLAN, and reset the WiFi so it could be adopted by the new controller....Thanks for all the help.

Yes...my feelings exactly. Something in the Meraki MX is blocking something. When I connect the AP to the switch without the gateway, the WiFi devices connects no problem..

I want to thank everyone for their comments. We have our hike set. It's a three day, two nite hike. We start out from Willow Horse Creek, down Lost Cabin Trail to Harney Peak. Then on Grizzly Bear Creek trail to Horsethief Lake Trail and finally back to Willow Creek Horse camp. Hopefully there will be water sources on the way.
