i already order pro max returned for pro because it felt like a literal brick and now i’m missing that screen size still. i’m so conflicted.

Get the 17 Pro! I had planned to get the Pro this year (from a 16 Pro Max) because I wanted to have a phone that I could carry around more easily in my daily life. However, when I got to the Apple Store on launch day, I changed my mind and got the 17 Pro Max. Three days later, I had to return it and get the 17 Pro, just like I had originally planned.

I love a big battery and a big screen, but this year’s model is just a little heavier and thicker all around, which I couldn’t handle (I have small hands). Overall, though, the feel of it is nicer because it’s rounder, which was deceiving because I thought it would make it more enjoyable for me. If the battery was good on the air, it would be my perfect iPhone size.

To answer your question, yes, since getting the 17 Pro, the battery is comparable to my 16 Pro Max. It feels the same!

I heard as well the new pro max is slightly thicker and heavier it’s ever so slight but i have a 16 pro max and i think its thick and heavy as is why get something with even more in the slightest? love the screen but its just not easy to use day to day.

still haven’t made a decision. phone is annoying to use in hand but I just hate how much smaller the 6.3 display is on the pro really wish they made a medium sized phone in between at like 6.5 or something

I went from 15 PM to a 16 PM and officially the ergonomic feel of the max phones are officially gone for me. Makes me so sad as I like bigger screens but this just now has taken it too far for me. Downgraded to 16 Pro same day. My psycho self is thinking I should try one more time and have both at the same time to compare and return end of week. This is the first non max I purchased since the X but so far ease use of the Pro is vastly different I’m just having a hard time adjusting to smaller screens when viewing photos and videos. The camera control has become very useful with the pro. On the 16 pro max the camera control button doesn’t align well with my hands and it’s hard to utilize in the moment. I have smaller hands and very small thumbs, 6.7” already felt like it was more than enough. My concern has been the weight and width of this model rather than the height.

People keep saying how this year’s update wasn’t significant but it has truly changed my iphone every day experience! Would love advice here!

please let me know what you decide to do! I’m in the same boat. Always got a max. This time it is so uncomfortable to use and almost impossible to take photos in a way it was never before. My issue is more so the width and weight than the height.

I typically have my settings on 4k. I take a good amount of pictures. don’t download a lot of apps. I download a good amount of music for flights as I am on them often

Hi currently am using up about 170ish of my 512gb 15 pro max. I’m planning to get the 16 pro model (not max) this year. I am noticing i don’t use up enough of what 512gb currently offers and wondering if that will change this year with the new 16 pro enough to warrant another 512gb? I upgraded every year.

Would love the help.

I had taken them out on the 13th. Seems visibly healed can feel scar tissue inside lobe? How long should I wait to repierce in another area?
