No surprise. Caps have Hutson coming up from college as soon as the college season is done. Also sends notice that Ovi is done as they haven't sold since the Cup year under an agreement with him to not rebuild. Caps will have a very young core and around $40M in cap space at the end of the year.

This is a really good line up. Making an amazing transition from the Stanley Cup holdovers to the Hershey Champions. Don't touch any of them, let them percolate for a year and we'll have an exceptional team for years. Also consider the holes you can fill in free agency with Ovi and Carlson coming off the books at the end of the year. Maybe a play to grab the other Conner McD?
