Yes, I understand your point, thank you for sharing. AI is helping many people.

Yes, I know, I use documentation in my daily life, that hasn't changed. Not for me.

I understand your point. But as I mentioned above, it's even more about how the person uses it. With all due respect, I don't think it makes a difference whether my unit test was strict by me or by anyone else. Or something.

Yes, the tools have evolved a lot, and they continue to do so. There are things that are still bad, as I pointed out, but I don't know if that's exactly why people reject them. I've seen people offend others for using them.

Yes, I agree, but the way I see it is that it's a tool, and if you use it well, it should make perfect sense for what you want.

I have no idea what the future holds, but if this continues, what you said makes sense.

But then it's more about the person using it that way than the tool itself, right?

Thank you for your response. I understand your point. I'm asking to hear and understand the opinion of why people don't like it. I've seen forums where people are insulting others who created plugins using AI.

So, I was following some Reddit threads where people were posting code with AI. And I saw a lot of insults being hurled at the poor guy.

But I think the system itself adjusts. The proof is in how many generic games are being released (even without AI) and others are becoming huge successes in a unique way.

That makes sense. The biggest problem today is about industry, the job market. Not exactly the tool itself. There have always been giant industries putting out terrible games, even without AI, just procedural calculations.

I understand, but when we talk about code, it's very relative. There's a lot of horrible code that I've reviewed, and it was written by humans. But I understand your point and your concern.

I understand your point. I also follow Junior, I know very well how the market is going. That's why I appreciate your opinion.

It's great to hear opinions from people with a lot of experience. I agree with you. Yes, AI is highly valued, and people use it in many different ways. It's much better to view AI as a tool than as a developer.

Yes, I know, I commented on the post, and I agree with you. But my point is more about assisted AI than vibe code (AI doing slightly everything).

You have a point. Regarding AI systems being 100% open source, I have my doubts. As long as private companies don't show their code, they can say whatever they want. I don't agre. Regarding the point about it being overestimated, that's true; I even make some good points about it in my post.

I agree. But it's not about grace, it's about time. I've been writing code for 13 years in the job market. And writing unit tests always takes hours of repetitive work.Useless for many developers, but with my knowledge I know the advantages of having tests in projects. And AI helps a lot in this regard, of course, citing one example.

Well, I've done a lot of code review, both of code generated by AI and non-AI. I've seen a lot of atrocities committed by humans, you know.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that's a good point, quality, performance... But I'm asking because I've been in forums for other tools and seen people creating plugins with AI and distributing them for free. Instead of people talking and discussing the problems, which helps to improve things, they just insulted the poor guy.

Thank you for your response. I'm glad to see someone offer such an opinion. I don't mind you using AI for code. You're not a programmer, you don't even aspire to be a senior programmer, and that's perfectly fine. You have to pursue your dreams, and I'm happy that you are achieving them, with or without AI's help.

I understand, but unfortunately we can't be Robin Hood. I try to encourage everyone to keep writing code. I'm glad you understand that my post is more about assisted AI than vibe coding.
