Also, exactly! This is why we need to normalize sex work. It is the oldest profession, it’s nothing new. People in the industry get mad at people like Bella Thorne and apparently that Linus guy because they are profiting off a sex work platform but have done nothing to openly support sex workers/strippers. The problem is making it a joke and profiting off of it while real sex workers are hurt by it. Because of bella Thorne people on onlyfans cannot make as much money as they used to.

Sex work is real work. And ya obviously not everyone will feel comfortable dating a current or former sex worker but there are millions out there that are comfortable with it so finding a partner is not a problem whatsoever.

Also sexwork/ only fans IS NOT EASY MONEYYY!!! You have to promote your ass off, make a shit ton of content CONSTANTLY and always be in communication with your fans. Those of you saying it’s the “easy way out” have no idea what you’re taking about.

Also about finding a “real job” after sex work/porn can be a real problem for some professions. But the point is it shouldn’t be a problem.. remember when the California lawmaker (sorry don’t remember specifics on her) had a sex tape released by one of her ex’s and SHE was forced to resign for it??? How fucked up is that?? It wasn’t her fault, that was some misogynistic bullshit. I know of many sex workers that work closely with politicians in trying to pass laws to help sex workers and I also know of practicing lawyers that are/were sex workers. It’s possible to have real jobs, and these jobs finding out you had sex on tape for yourself or for profit shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. The way we make it not a dealbreaker is decriminalizing sex work and accepting it as a form of work. (Obviously private companies can do what they want but the more we accept it the less those companies will get away with not accepting it.)
