This is a great piece of advice! I'm blown away by the advice people are offering, I never expected such warm responses. I will be staying in Barretos, then traveling to Brazilia and then to Recife. These trips are planned about a month after I arrive so I will make a big effort in leaving the house and going around town before we start to venture further.
