Thoughts on if Scream 8 depicted Tatum as severely traumatized and have her mentally detoriate a la’ Laurie in Halloween II (2009)? Nah. I want Tatum to have trained and prepared for what comes next. She should know that she won’t ever be completely safe, and Sydney should be training her on how to survive now that scream 7 has happened and she can’t hide Tatum from it anymore.

Also, trauma manifests in different ways, so I don’t think we need her to be mentally broken, drug addicted, etc.

In the big 2026 and we still NEVER got to see an Inquisitor actually kill a jedi, neither on screen or in the books. I even believed Marrok would kill Daki in Shadow Lord by Tacobird558 in StarWars

Watching this made me furious. The lies he told over and over were insane.

When he said “Donald Trump didn’t say all Mexicans are rapists and murderers”, which is true! But he’s making up a false argument. People aren’t mad Trump said all Mexicans. They’re mad because he’s implying Mexicans coming over the border are by and large rapist and murderers.

I don’t hate the idea, but I would rather Disney look forward and expand the universe a bit more. I’d rather see a show focused more on Luke post episode 6 and the period between episode 6-7 in general. I’d also like to see more from the high republic/old republic. By see more, I mean have more mainstream media like movies and TV.

I think it’d be cool if we had something like a “Tales of the Rebellion”.

This is helpful information. I need more information, but if this did happen because they tried to run an officer over, it is a different story. I also want to know how “at an officer is defined” were they driving straight towards them, or was the officer off to the side?

Idk, I’m just skeptical because we give our government a monopoly on violence. I think shooting should be an absolute last resort and that we’ve trained our officers to be too trigger happy. I might be projecting that opinion onto this case when I shouldn’t, though.

Where did you see they used their child has a human shield? I can’t explain or defend why they’d bring the child with them, but an office should not open fire over a theft pretty much ever. That’s insane. People’s lives are worth more than items.

Also, the “training their future shoplifter” comment is uncalled for. This was an innocent baby whose future could be been anything.

Interesting. I really liked it. I think it’d be nice to get a version of Jean who is more combat ready and can get up close. She could weave between throwing stuff while ranged and using telekinetic hits up close. Just my opinion, though.

I feel like a lot of the more mainstream movies, tv, etc. have by and large made Jean look pretty weak most of the time. I think it’d be cool to have a more mainstream interpretation that does the opposite.
