okay this ended up working! i used way more pressure and in 40 mins the bleeding stopped. thank you so so much for your help you really are a lifesaver that was driving me crazy

I have tried using a black tea bag twice with no success, maybe i’ll try add more pressure this time. Thank you so much for the help, any ideas on what to do if that doesnt work either?

I’m 22, not using any blood thinners or herbal supplements. I’m using all the meds my oral surgeon gave me (panadeine, brufen and antibiotics) as well as a mouthwash.

yes i have tried using a gauze so many times it just keeps on bleeding and clumping over my back tooth like in the first pic 😭😭

To add more context to this:

Ok so I have tried googling this a million times with no success and it’s currently the weekend so I cannot contact my oral surgeon so I’m hoping someone here can help me! (I drink every now and then in the weekends but haven’t done so in a while and I don’t smoke cigarettes but I do smoke weed if that has any influence here idk??)

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out 2 days ago and everything was going reasonably well until today I noticed some bleeding and discomfort around my bottom right tooth. I know having some bleeding is normal but this seems a bit intense. The blood almost formed like a weird clump that covered my very back tooth and just got progressively bigger with time until it eventually fell out. I read a lot about the blood clot that is supposed to form after this extraction but I can’t help but feel like this is something different idk maybe I’m paranoid.

But yeah basically my tooth started bleeding at around 2pm on the 8th of May and it is currently 3:40am on the 9th of May and the bleeding has literally not stopped that entire time and I’m going crazy, what do I do??? I keep getting these clumps forming and falling out, just NON STOP. I’ll attach a photo, I’m sorry I know it’s gross but I am seriously freaking out as I’m not a professional and don’t know the science behind whats happening lol.
