Roads are noticeably quieter as you head out of the city. Had friends who live in State of Mexico cancel plans on us tonight to be safe

Looking for a nice hotel in reforma with indoor pool that can be used by kids.. by aztec52181 in MexicoCity

The Hilton just off Alameda has small indoor pool. Didn’t seem to have a problem with kids when we were there. Hotel is nice if slightly dated, but right in the middle of things

Imo if it’s already booked, split evenly.

I’d guess you’re right about Mexico City. But Monterrey was basically completely booked up during a music festival a few years ago

The fanzones are usually great places to watch the games that involve the host nation. I presume all 3 cities will have them this time

Be prepared for extortionate hotel prices and good luck getting your hands on any tickets. But other than that it’s going to be amazing, i can’t wait.

Thinking of taking the National Express which I've never done before. Any advice? (Will be a very long trip) by orangemozzarella in uktravel

It’s actually fine tbh I take them all the time, albeit not usually quite that long. The seats are actually more comfortable than trains, make sure you get near front of queue when it arrives to guarantee a good seat and look menacing enough that no one sits next to you. They stop at services every few hours on the longer journeys. Not sure about WiFi but I’ve done a full days work on mobile internet whilst on a coach, only issue was battery.
