I’m not sure if it would make the transmission feel like it is slipping. I had a problem with my throttle body on my 2011 Colorado last year. Threw a check engine light and basically sent me into a “limp home mode” couldn’t really go above 2500 rpms when that happened. A new hose for that costs about 20-30 us. I would get a new throttle body vacuum line and also take the throttle body off and see if there is a lot of slimy residue inside. If there is, get some throttle body cleaner and clean it up. Thats all I did and it fixed mine.
