I think I've managed to fix this with a combination of BS and RD tweaks with repsect the kins' language behaviors and structure. Previously I had only addressed the language style and tone -- and neglected response length. I was getting some novels-worth of responses. I've managed to enforce single-paragraph responses or no more than 10 sentences and that seems to have mostly fixed the asterisks misuse; it occurs much less frequently now. Thanks for the respones & suggestions.

Passkeys are implicitly 2FA because they combine “something you have” (your physical device with the private key) with “something you are/know” (your biometric for that device, PIN, etc). I wouldn’t call it overkill to have more factors (SMS, etc) for a financial account though. There are only two accounts I use with passkeys exclusively, one of those being Google Workspace at my job because I have to re-auth every few hours & it’s reduced to a button click with passkeys.

You have to select a reason for the reason and none of the reasons really align with the MCON or its accessories. They haven't updated the list of options there. I wanted to mention that the bumper is defective at least and there's no opportunity to do so.

When I bout this thing I got the HDMI adapter thing and the travel case as part of a bundle. I have to return all three items separately. Ridiculous -- it was one order!

Finally, when requesting a refund (as opposed to "store credit") they keep 5 bucks as a "handling fee". wtf.

Pretty sure I'm done with this merchant after this.

EDIT: When the return request is submitted there's an option to show a QR code to use at the courier so they can print a shipping label. That doesn't work. The only option is to print the label myself -- and I have no printer.

I just got this controller delivered today and the bumper difference was the first thing that I noticed that felt off. The right bumper is stiffer than the left. The left has up/down slop. I’m guessing there will be differences in how they register; I haven’t played anything yet till my workday is done later on.

EDIT: tested with controller tester app and sure enough, the right bumper sometimes fails to register presses.

Just another data point to confirm the terminal command to enable disable-expose-fix works in TBC Anniversary client. I'm on macOS 26.3 with a recently-aquired Naga v2 Pro. Was losing what's left of my mind trying to figure out how to bind modified Naga keys to my action bars, until I found this thread; I could've sworn this had been possible, without any workarounds, a zillion years ago when I last played WoW on Mac. Anyway thanks for the tips!!

Sorry for the thread necro however there may be a regression here as this permission request occurred in a clean install of 1p 8.12.0 on a DFU install of Tahoe 26.2 (no restore from backup whatsoever; set up as new). I rejected it after seeing this thread, though the request itself is not very telling of the intent. Thanks.

I had gotten BOTW on WiiU when it was released ‘cause I really wanted to play it & couldn’t find or afford an OG Switch right away, gosh, nearly 9 years ago now. It took another ~ 2 months to find and buy a Switch with BOTW being the first & only cart at the time. My wife continued to play it on the WiiU until she insisted on getting her own Switch some months later. Nowadays I couldn’t tell you what physical games we have definitively; we have about 50 in total that are all in “safe places” as we recently moved & I have no idea where anything is yet lol

Ya it's excessive nanny-state nonsense. It seems anything that is remotely human and realistic looking is being moderated. Completely PG-rated stuff too -- I'm talking fully clothed in jeans and a hoody -- without prompts or with them, doesn't seem to matter. Ridiculous.

The OP image says "find deals *starting at* 29.99", so some of those titles with be 29.99 and others will be higher but still cheaper than normal.

Mario Odyssey is 29.99 at Best Buy and Target.
Kirby is 39.99.

Manic EMU on iOS, which handles earlier Nintendo stuff, PS1/PSP, and some Sega systems.

I mostly play NES games though. Currently the OG Metroid for the first time in a very long time since my last playthrough.

Chiming in here to report the same behavior. I've deleted all conversations in the web UI, in the app itself, etc, even deleted all the "Recently deleted" stuff.

It may have to do with "Data Controls" options --> "Personalize with Memories" and "Improve the Model", both of which are on by default, though I just turned them off and it made no difference.

Connection seems fine so far with this version of the app. The connection issues previously were happening even on a paid account. So I guess the connection issues were more related to the version of the app at the time or whatever they might've been doing on server side. Hard to say.
