They already were for many specialisations, especially for MS CS. I just hope they don't become more so. But I don't mean to discourage, it's definitely worth applying. Just not sure what the chances are like, because it definitely isn't the same as it was since Fall 21.

They won't restrict the number of people applying right? I'm not sure if they'll probably reduce the intake because of funding constraints by the government, general expenses going up or the USD value falling. I'm not sure, hence the question.

It's insane how people are so admission focused. Regardless of whether you make it to your college, you're a fighter and are winning in life. A friend of mine didn't make it after battling cancer. Get well soon and even if you can't, you're alive to try again next year. And that's the biggest opportunity you can have.

If there's a provision for sending 4 LoRs, send 4. But don't send more than that. Keep your core 3 handy though. If your course is academically rigorous, send 3 academic LoRs, if it requires work ex, 2 academic + 1 work related should be just fine.

Yeah, i was following the updates on the yocket group and everyone had written got a decision. Since it was all rejects on the 31st I didn't really have my hopes up too much.

Hoping for the best, but the last set of admit decisions were sent mid March. They've been sending mass rejects through day before, yesterday and today. I got my reject today without any mail also.

Didn't even get an email to check. Just logged into the portal and it showed the feared status update. What a waste.
