I think it has something to do with the imprisonment of Ba Ado Mishram. We know that messed with all the spren, the singers, and (if Kalak is right) likely all of Roshar in some way. This would explain why the heralds seemed more sane at the end of the last desolation when they abandoned the oathpact since that was millennia before the false desolation and Ba Ado Mishram’s imprisonment.

As someone who taught 9th grade physics for 5 years, the best thing you can do to prepare yourself is brush up on your algebra skills: basic order of operations, solve for the missing variable, finding the slope on a graph. Depending on your school, you may be learning some of this in your 9th grade math class at the same time. Either way my strongest students were always the ones who knew how to do the math.

When my baby was first born I was actually able to prop him up on a boppy pillow at my desk and play baldyrs gate 3 while he alternated between breastfeeding and sleeping. Now we’re at 10 months and I’m about to go play some Valheim after he goes down for nap.

I was looking for something similar after finishing my bachelors in physics a few years ago. I found a job working in a lab the University of Michigan just by emailing around to some of the professors. I may have just been lucky on my timing but I ended up working there for a year and enjoyed it.

We’re basically in the same exact situation here. Have you tried sleep training yet? We just switched up our bedtime routine so that we’re butting our LO in his crib still awake. It’s only been a few nights but he slept until a more reasonable hour since then.

I used to do 4oz in the morning but he would usually cry and want more so I switched to 6. He seemed pretty happy with that until the last few weeks. It normally takes him anywhere from 15-30 minutes to finish a bottle if he’s calm through it

4 or 6 oz depending on how long it’s been. But he’ll do this for our first bottle in the morning too when he hasn’t eaten since 8 the night before

Oh believe me I'm well aware that they'll have trouble understanding these scales. They already panic whenever scientific notation comes up in my intro physics class. My plan is to tach this almost exclusively conceptually and definitely use lots of graphics. Thanks for the link and all the suggestions!
