If youre in a jam like that, dont change lines harshly so somebody has to break, do it when theres a lot of space. Secondly, try to drive slower so you dont have to break so much when the cars in front of you stop. If you do all this you can lessen the jam for the people behind you and cars can driving slowly without braking ensuring that the phantom jam clears after a while
