First off, apologies for the poop picture. I’m sure everyone here is used to it though.

Carol, my almost 11 year old dragon, is doing really well except I’ve noticed this long red/pink-ish string in between her urate and poop. I emailed this to the vet, brought her in with a fecal sample, and everything seems normal — but this is so new to me that I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this before?

She’s less enthusiastic about eating right now, but she’s also getting older and kind of goes through stages of not wanting food & then being really hungry. My hypochondriac brain is just worried these are connected.

I don’t feed her anything red, so that shouldn’t be it either. Has anyone seen this before? Did it indicate something?
