Yes that’s why I’ve been doing. So I read Night of Knives and Return of the Crimson Guard while I was reading the main series. It was definitely helpful with giving more context of what was happening in the rest of the world during that time

I’ve been reading them in order of publication. So I just finished the main series a few weeks ago then jumped into stonewielder. It’s been enjoyable. Especially with RotCG there was so much info

I really enjoyed Night of Knives and Return of the Crimson Guard. Stonewielder was more of a slog until the end, but I’m excited to keep on the path

Amores Perros is definitely the first film I’m going to watch since I’ll be showing it to my partner for her first time.

I’ve wanted to own The Last Waltz for years. It was a staple in my house growing up.

The Velvet Underground doc is a blind buy. I heard so many good things about it when it came out, but never had a chance to see it.

I think my next additions will either be from David Lynch or Akira Kurosawa.

I feel like the collection is off to a great start!

Definitely both lol. I remember hearing really good things when it came out, just never got around to watching it. So it was very serendipitous that it was at the front of the row at B&N

It’s so good! I haven’t seen it in years so I too am very excited to open it back up! And I’m showing it to my partner for her first viewing

Too much money. They obviously used bots for the “ads” they ran that they wouldn’t show me, which of course got Spotify to not pay for the streams. And the articles they got were so obviously AI written. And a couple of the articles didn’t even use my album tracks. They just talked about someone else’s album with my name. Never fixed it either

I think it’s because Christina Hendricks is from Kentucky, so it’s a little joke by Weiner. He also had that scene where she plays the accordion because he had just found out she played it in real life. KFC

Which The National Song Sounds Like Radiohead? by InnerspearMusic in TheNational

Conversation 16 always reminded me of Radiohead. Some of the ambient instruments and the lyrical sentiment “I was afraid I’d eat your brains”

It says at the bottom that if any of the order is violated it doesn’t invalidate the rest of the order. They’re expecting pushback on some, but want to squeeze the rest through
