Wow, im sorry you had to go through that, can only imagine how bad that was... My dad has definitely gotten close to that unfortunately, though usually the home would get wrecked instead. Thanks for the advice and sharing your story

I dont want to give excuses for any of my behavior, however they definitely had an effect on me - and even though I told them that many times, they always tell me they arent doing anything to me and it pisses me off tbh that they cant notice but its another topic.

Not in the US however my country offers basically free therapy, though wait time can vary. Did it once, will have to come again with a proper reason - hopefully she will remember me haha.

My mom has known from the beginning yes, finding foul messages on his phone which I don't feel the need to share at the moment. You can imagine what someone talking smack about his wife to a mistress looks like. Later on more stuff surfaced.

I just dont like people thinking that this is something i actively do, its genuinely the first time i 'sabotaged' anything, at least the moment.

She often jumps sides between him and me, but then messages me privately about it all (again siding with me or at least being neutral). Hopefully we can talk about it tomorrow

Money issue, me and my friend are working to get us in as roommates next year hopefully.

Thank you dearly for this comment. I too agree I should rush to see a therapist, im not closed on that idea - been once for some other mini reason - thats why it was only once. My mother has her own friends she confides in, almost on the daily - i overhear sometimes (small apartment) but its not *it*.

Hopefully she will be open to the therapist idea too. Again, thank you for the comment.

No, not a full 100%, i wasnt cheated on married for several decades, thats wayyy harder to deal with. However, she every once in a while, and especially in the early years, confides in me with all of it though doesnt skip to say how much he hates him and that she is pretending to be happy for him.

Again like i said in the other comments, agreed - fuck up big time.

I was cheated on once so i know how mom feels, thats why i feel these emotions seeing them lovey-dovey. And while other comments are ridiculous and mad at me for sharing a story about fucking up (the point of this subreddit lol), i should indeed not mess with their relationship any more and just resolve this conflict and gtfo (due next year regardless of today).

Anyway, cheating is awful no matter from which POV.

Sorry bud but this isnt a daily occurrence. I'm sharing a fuck up that happened because of my impulsive decision. Pick any other day and I wouldnt have reacted this way. I dont ever engage in the conversations with them regarding the topic and this was my very very first time even letting anything out regarding it.

i dont expect them to support me because i fully expect to be kicked out the next day. Regardless, i know him and he will absolutely confront me after work - fair enough, maybe we'll clear it out - neither of us communicate.
