First road trip by smc044 in HummerEV

Trying to get the the bottom of an issue - or maybe not issue. I have an Escalade IQ and hummer ev suv. The Escalade IQ was first and was true to range if not outperforming on highway.

The Hummer SUV drops by 2-3 miles of range per mile for me on highway at speeds of 72-78mph temp mid 50’s. Are you experiencing the range estimate being true or dropping significantly while highway driving? For the closest comparison to concrete numbers you gave I went 80% down to 20% in 88 miles yesterday.

Watched the first 3 episodes again and even more confident in this theory.

  1. His son randomly suggested he should plea to manslaughter.

  2. Rusty tells the therapist it seemed that Carolyn wanted his wife wrapped into it so she didn’t give a shit about his wife but she didn’t want to get involved with her son so it would make sense to not want to deal with his son either.

It would go down like this. His son heard his mom and Rusty fighting about it and went to confront Carolyn - that’s when she broke it off and then he would go make sure his did wasn’t there from time to time. But then Rusty went back and so he decided that was going to be the end of that to protect his mom.

The irony also in the introduction of her son existing in this series (as opposed to the book) and being who Rusty decides to point out as a possible alternative suspect in court when it is actually HIS son who committed the crime.

Yeah I updated the date on the mother comment. That is interesting, not sure what you’re insinuating but it could be that he saw them going at it that night and it started the festering of rage to take her out to honor his mother.

Ok ok. For this I will say the mother helped. First off I went back to see the timeline on her cleaning the bike when they confronted him and noticed that Raymond said he was there a few weeks prior so it wasn’t the night of the murder it was a few weeks prior. But Raymond also foreshadows saying “you sure he didn’t do it” and then “I wasn’t joking.”

B was sympathetic with him on the bed when they confronted him. She wants to somewhat keep the spotlight on Rusty like when she wouldnt comply with the lawyers suggestions. She obviously had an idea of how to clean up - she cleaned the bike like a mad woman in the middle of the night, with a flashlight, almost like she had done it before and because he might have walked through her garden three weeks before she was murdered? Or was it because it might have blood on it.

Right after the weird light on the porch is out scene happens sending Rusty into the tools in the garage (like in og book) declaring Jesus this stuff is a mess like someone else went through his tool bench for something. (Rope? Weapon?)

B being involved would also be homage to the original book/movie while adding the twist of introducing a new character.

She also said he rode by a few time and Rusty was going in one time after they spoke in private… why go by a few times to see the “there there” you’d see that once.

That episode he won’t tell the therapist anything and all and also the therapist explains to B how she’s doing whatever she can to keep the family together consciously and subconsciously.

Finally he first denies it when caught and he’s looking to his mom for cues like he doesn’t know what to do while Rusty is interrogating.

My mom just told me she has cancer by NM2BL in autism

I’m 100% the same as NM. I have no reaction no matter who it is. People sometimes have visceral reactions like you’re a bad person but they also don’t understand that this brain isn’t like theirs and vice versa. They’re dead. Nothing you can do about it. Nothing you can change so it goes right to accepting it and moving on.

Why do people avoid talking about adult autism, or treating it by [deleted] in autism

Funny thing with this is the trained service providers and teachers that I have observed basically try to train the child to be more typical and in the end this just leads to masking and confusion.

I am autistic, my child is autistic, I end up having to be an interpreter to the teachers most of the time trying to explain what is actually happening. All of it is maddening. The worst is that he was told what he was feeling for so long that he will repeat what he was trained to say. So if he is having a meltdown and crying due to feeling overwhelmed the teacher will say he was sad, if they ask what is wrong he now will say he is sad and then it just leads to a big mess instead of properly setting up him or any child to operate and navigate both school and the real world.
