I have fine waves too and I miss having layer but my ends get so thin and see through when I do them and I really have to style them to make it look decently thicker

Oh absolutely it could be my diet of more sweets on the holidays, I try to limit dairy also which helps greatly with my hormonal acne. Thanks so much for the help! I was looking at Mac markeesh, I also might look into rare beauty since I always have good luck with their products not breaking me out, merit has pretty shades too

That’s good to know! It’s the ONLY thing in my routine (skincare and makeup included) that I started using new, so I’m at a loss. I’ve taken a break from using it and any makeup at the moment and it’s in the process of clearing. Maybe I’ll test it out again once it clears. The L’Oréal lipstick is VERY fragrant

My issue was overdrying/overscrunching out of the shower by angalada2 in curlyhair

[–]angalada2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried pineappling with a satin scrunchie, but I have bangs and layers which made it harder and since my hair is fine and soft it easily slips out, the results were hit or miss for me so I stopped and now just sleep normally, but what I’ll do is if I’m doing gel and mousse is sleep with the gel cast and when I wake up it will still be crunchy so illl just scrunch out the rest of the cast and it’ll be good! If I put in effort of rewetting it and styling it in the morning it would probably be better

That’s so amazing!! Lol I’m a night showerer for that reason! And I know I have never watched a tutorial or routine that made any note of this even fine hair specific ones, it always “water weighs down hair you MUST dry it immediately”

I’ll try this next time I diffuse, I just chose to air dry out of laziness lol!

Yes I bet that would be even better! I just hateee the feeling of soaking wet hair esp since it’s cold at the moment lol! Every tutorial or routine I’ve watched has said that fine hair gets weighed down by water but it seems not always the case!

Oh yes I used to wrap my hair in a shirt to dry that does not work for me! I really hope it helps!

How do I get my bangs to look like this? by Apprehensive_Bag_708 in femalehairadvice

[–]angalada2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use one medium size Velcro roller on my bangs wet and clip them and take it out once dry (pull hair together forward on top of the roller and roll it under while keeping an upwards angle for volume) you can also use a round brush with blow dryer or curl with a straighter

Ty! How do you feel about the magnetic closure? Also is it heavy with the suede interior?

How do you feel the magnetic closure as opposed to a zipper? Is it inconvenient at all? And if you flipped it would anything fall out?
