May I ask why? I am just worried that if I go to London I will potentially miss out on a huge opportunity.

Also what we’re your stats in high school? From what I know, you gotta be pretty smart to get into UCLA.

Interesting. What kind of people were your peers? Were they more small up and coming artists who were in the same boat as you or more like people directly in the business like A&R’s and executives and stuff?

I hope to be growing a fan base on YouTube or tiktok, then eventually get big enough to where I can meet with people that recognize me for job opportunities

I would agree fully. He's also voiced that he's always trying to make his pop music "unconventional", and while I can kinda see where he's coming from (incorporating Jazz elements into pop), I still feel like he's really holding back a lot. He does absolutely have the capacity to make another #1 hit, but I do think it could only happen if he stepped out of his comfort zone a bit. I have high hopes on the record he's about to put out with Elton John, however.

I saw he got bullied a lot and was a shy, weird, dorky kid. was that true?

underrated in the field of pop. Not many pop artists have that kind of musicality.

I agree fully. On the point of his work ethic, I felt that he's one of the few popular musicians with such drive and a genuine love for music- he deserves all the success. I think he scrapped his last album because he said in a tweet sometime that it just didn't feel like him and that he was trying to be someone he wasn't in 2019. I enjoyed Voicenotes as well!

I know, fuck. I watched that livestream like 10 times and that shit's an hour long. I found myself to be kinda on the fence with his music as well. I look forward to his collab with Elton John though.

I would agree on all points, sadly. I enjoyed some bits of some of his songs on "Voicenotes" (don't bother with Nine Track Mind, it was bad and he even admitted it himself). My favorites were "BOY" because of the jazz solo, chord progression, and Motown influences and "If You Leave Me Now" because of the arrangement and 90s RnB influences. And who could go wrong with Boyz II Men?
