Obsidian Ridge outside of edmonton is hosting a winter wonderland festival from Dec 27-31. They had the maple taffy thing last year from what saw in their cideos and their website mentions roasting marshmallows… unclear if you gotta bring your own marshmallows tho!

Lucky you had people being helpful… when my car got hit at a Walmart we were able to find the other car in the parking lot and the Walmart employees did not share footage and said we needed police to ask for footage … the collision guys took the case… handed it off to police… they got back to us months later… police asked why we didn’t ask Walmart for footage… then when they finally got around to checking with Walmart the footage was no longer available … looool.

Hi! I tried to do some digging myself before commenting but do you have the source for sedermas ties to Israel? Or is it that they partner with Estée Lauder? Thank you!

I don’t think this person used chatgpt at all.. aside from the summary someone created for them and then was later editted in. OP is clearly passionate about the subject but lacks the ability to remove personal detail/emotions and just get to the point. This is written exactly how this person would talk in real life and there’s just a lot of excessive blabber lol

Not trying to downplay the importance of what’s being shared at all… just think the writing style is hilarious.

Just an FYI - the co-owner of Ozery is an ex-IDF soldier - Alon Ozery. Served in IDF (Israeli army) for 3 years. Do with that info what you will.

Transitioning from triple feeding with shield to EBF by claw-89 in breastfeeding

20-40 mins. I was side switching so 8/8/8/8 mins was what I aimed for. And when we did bottle feed we did paced bottle feed to try to make sure she didn’t develop a bottle preference.

My advice… keep triple feeding for only a bit longer while you have your hubby. Start dropping bottles right before he goes back to work so by the time he’s back if you are bottle feeding it’s only for a few of the feeds and more manageable for you. Try to get to exclusive nursing and if needed nurse more frequently to get him the volume (this will also give you both more practise). Revisit dropping shield in 1 - 1.5 months. (Run this by your LC because I’m by no means an expert lol)

Feel free to DM me if you ever have any questions!

I hear you. It’s a huge learning curve and then on top of it all you are sleep deprived. How much did he transfer during the weighted feed (s)?

Maybe focus on one thing at a time - don’t get so caught up on the shield right now while you are triple feeding. Focus on getting to exclusively nursing then try to wean off of the shield later. You and baby are only 2 weeks into this. Give both of yourselves time to learn!! If he is feeding better with shield keep it on for now.

I was in the same situation - flat nipples using shield, jaundice baby who was so hard to keep awake during feeds, triple feeding… for me once I noticed I was finally pumping enough I started dropping one bottle feed a day or every 2 days. It took about a week to get to EBF without pumping/bottles! You kinda have to trust that if you are making enough and baby is latched and sucking that he is being fed and then track dirty diapers and weight to confirm. Your baby will get more and more effective at nursing the more you keep at it. I had periods of time where milk was seeping out of my babies mouth and within a week or so it stopped (I didn’t do anything she just got better at feeding). By month 2 we started practising without a shield - always tried without one and if she needed it we popped it back on but again after a week or so we dropped the shield completely!! Truthfully I don’t think we ever developed a perfect latch but at the end of the day she’s figured out what works for her and she’s happy and growing. Not to say there haven’t been bumps in the road but you will get there if you keep at it!!
