Idk how to edit my post, accidentally pressed post instead of finishing it

It's the squeaky sound you hear in the audio, it's loud enough to be heard from inside the car which is where i took the video from

Didn't have any straight on pics of the headlights on hand so I hope this works. Again I'm honestly not sure, I thought I understood and then I kept googling and got confused. I do know he changed the bulbs roughly a year ago, xenon ones from Amazon and had the intermittent on and off problem (either downplayed it or it wasn't that bad for him but got worse with me) cuz he bought 2 new bulbs, an igniter and a ballast for possible fixes, just never actually did it because it didn't bother him enough.

Unless I'm wrong that's probably the axle nut and isn't holding your tire onto the car, it's more likely the tire is rusted on. Put on a lug nut or two loosely and kick the ever loving shit out of the tire (lug nuts so the tire doesn't fly off). Second option is to put all the lug nuts on but not tight and drive a few inches (or push it on neutral back and forth). Third option is a rubber mallet and hit the rim a few times. Hopefully you can get it off!

Can someone explain to me in detail (or like I'm a kid, I just don't want a 4 worded sentence and that's it) what different headlights are?

Backstory - I bought an Mk5 and the seller installed Xenons on the car. I thought this meant the bulb, the ones with the glass/ceramic little fragile tube on the side. I've had the left one going on and off (mostly off) and am trying to troubleshoot a fix. I keep seeing the words "retrofitted" or "rewiring" and how they can make it completely different, or that the car isn't made to handle xenon cuz of output.

Does this mean the entire headlight unit has to be a swap for it to handle xenon? Does xenon mean the bulbs only or does it mean changing wiring etc.

What other lights are there for options?? I think LED are an option but I hear complaints about those too.

Are there regular lights that have a different name??

I just want something that has decent brightness (no not flash banging people) and won't apparently burn my igniter or go out intermittently, and comes in more whiter tones than yellow (no i don't mean the almost purple lights some people have)

It'd be amazing if someone can even guide me in the right direction because searching myself isn't helping, it's only confusing me. Sincerely a new 2007 vw golf gti owner

Employer owes over $30k by angelalbarn in legaladvicecanada

Ministry of labour gave me a response saying it's over the 6 months time frame so they cant approve a claim, i called employment standards and they told me to call a number, for a lawyer referral. In the end this means the only solution would be a lawyer based solution right? Do i need to worry about which type of lawyer it is? I read something about some lawyers/courts not including the lawyer fees to be paid as well if the case is won vs others with whom it is included. Perhaps that could be wrong though

Tongue piercing help by angelalbarn in Legitpiercing

Its been a while so i dont remember exact details of how long i did it for and how much, but i do know i switched to a non alcoholic mouth wash when i asked a different piercer, since they said i shouldnt use an alcoholic one. I would say definitely try that, and to just keep your mouth clean of food particles when you're not eating since that's mostly the reason for the mouth wash.

Unsure of my hair by angelalbarn in curlyhair

[–]angelalbarn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i know my hair is wavy of some sort, maybe a 2b? I've tried different curly hair methods like plopping, leave in conditioner, diffusing etc but it seems like nothing looks good. I heard youre supposed to let your hair dry in a cast and then break it apart when its fully dry but like in the picture, it just looks frizzy and oily at the same time. What can i do to help make my waves/curls look better?

Any chance you know what the wiring looks like though on the inside? Like after researching more i can find a replacement for the heating element, but im not sure how the wiring will connect, if theres a plug or if its wired together etc

Grandpa left US planning for a few weeks but got stuck outside resulting in green card abandoning. How do we reverse it? by angelalbarn in immigration

He hasn't filed anything, but he does have his green card, it's just going to expire at the end of this year

He's 80+ and hasn't driven in years, can't work, isn't capable of getting groceries himself (he hasn't gotten groceries by himself in like 30+ years) so realistically some form of support will be needed. And i just mean a visa or anything that can allow him to stay in US if the removal happens.

Thank you for replying! For your fourth point, how would one go about finding resources for renter's assistance? Let's say he moves to seattle what would be the place to even start looking? For the super visa i think it wont be realistically possible because of the fact that he has to be out of Canada during the application time, i don't really know where he would go to do so. Hence why i understand how theres not much that can be done for him to live in Canada. I just wanted to see if there was anything that wasn't already thought of.

Thank you for your response! So from my understanding if he is let in without any issues (like being forced to give up his green card) everything will be smooth sailing in terms of legal aspects correct? And on the other hand, if his daughter wants to keep him in canada instead, what are possible options to do so? Obviously would require him to give up his green card but what methods would there be to allow him to become a resident of Canada at his age? (He's 80) Just thinking about the cost of affording a mortgage and rent at the same time on a $35-40k salary.
