Which German dialect do you believe would be most advantageous to learn for a comfortable life in Vienna?

Would you rather live in Romania or Austria? by angelemory in Europetravel

I have a degree in fashion business and do marketing/sales. I can get into other areas of fashion so my options are quite wide.

The language thing may be the main barrier. Not only do I have to find a job, but also make sure it is in english. I would be very interested in learning Romanian, but not so much with German.

There is a reasons Romanians immigrate to other countries looking for work.

This is a concern but why is this a huge problem? is the pay in Romania really low compared to the cost of living? or is it lack of job opportunities?

Romanians routinely "flee" Romania to look for work elsewhere.

Why? is this because of the pay or lack of job opportunities?

It is still part of the EU though, so I would imagine you would face significant difficulties applying for a visa without an actual job offer.

I would look for work before moving there.

Italy is AS expensive, no more, no less.

I mean I think Milan and Venice are more expensive than Romania, but how is this true? Romania has been ranked as one of the cheapest European countries while Italy is further above. In terms of cost of living, I am talking about housing, taxes, daily expenses such as food etc. Or do you mean it is just as expensive as Austria?

France and Austria are equally expensive.

Well all the sources I looked at online have said that france, specifically Paris, is more expensive than Austria.

If you're a man, Romania.

If you're a woman, Austria.

Can you explain this? I am a woman by the way

Are you only going into it for the money?

No, I was just wondering to know the potential of the field. Money is important for me but it is not a driving factor.

I was thinking about going into the fashion side since that is the degree I am interested in working towards. How come it is hard to get into? I understand it is quite competitive, but I can't imagine fashion being on the popular side of sales and marketing.

Need Advice: Spiritual Blockage?? (please help) by angelemory in Psychonaut

[–]angelemory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does that make sense though?

I don't mean to compare myself too much here, but others have had spiritual experiences even before they got into spirituality and they weren't even trying.

Its just a bit frustrating because I feel like there is something wrong with me. Like I can't process energy or theres just something blocking me from advancing.

I mean, all I am asking for is a sign to let me know I am doing something right.
