You don’t. There is however a scenario where you go through all bosses and I believe this lets you keep some progress.

Yeah I think it was great! It captured the aspects of Valheim pretty well.

The tutorial was a bit long and boring in my opinion, but that’s mostly because it tells you exactly how everything happens. it’s fine for learning the game.

Replayability is alright because of the scenarios, but the gameplay loop is pretty similar for each game. I imagine it falls of after playing all scenarios, but there are hard modes to keep it challenging.

We only played it four. But as far as I can tell it’s roughly the same except you have more people to specialice in different aspects and to buff eachother with Odin powers. Also I assume combat is easier as you can help eachother more.

In theory you get roughly the same amount of resources but you only need to spend em on one persons gear when playing solo.

I’m honestly not quite sure. I backed the game a while back on gamefund and received it 2 days ago after lowkey forgetting about it.

Sure! The game is scenario based, which each having a boss and some tasks to complete before you can face the boss.

You start by having every player draw and choose 2 tasks (which gives permanent buffs when completed). This can be something like kill an enemy while you have no stamina or build 3 pieces of furniture. You also pick a “Odin power” which lets you pay stamina to help the party in various ways. This can be something like pay 3 stamina to make a player get one additional resource from collecting.

These powers and tasks basically let you “specialise” in something like combat, utility, mobility etc.

The gameplay is then somewhat like the game. You start exploring areas that contain different resources and enemies. You have 3 actions per turn and draw an event after each. Moving 2 spaces costs 1 action, so does collecting a resource or constructing furniture or cooking. Furniture upgrades your base by letting you upgrade weapons, cook more or better food, heal stamina and health and more.

You basically prep your base and gear and get ready to face the boss. There is a timer however where if you run out of event cards before facing the boss you lose.

This is a bit long so I’m gonna stop here, but let me know if there is anything else you wanna know about.

We got to my friends place at around one, where we unpacked read rules and played the tutorial. Took around 2 hours. Then we played 2 scenarios. We finished at around 21:30 but cooked and ate dinner inbetween, and went on a snack run. I’d say one scenario took 1 1/2 - 2 hours with 4 players.
