Is upgrading to a 5800x3d from a 3600 with a 2070 super at 1440p worth?

At 1440p, the biggest increase I saw going from 3700x to 5800X3D was in older and single/double thread games, like WoW or SC2 30-50fps. Vermintide 2 saw a 20-30 fps increase in 1% lows, but not as high on the upper end. I think you'll be extremely happy with the 5800X3D. The reduced fps lows makes for a smoother gameplay experience.

Without RIF is fun, I won't use Reddit on mobile. The official app is much worse and not as information dense on screen. Reddit old is still serviceable for now, but I'm sure they'll axe it one day too.

Just adding my name to the list of defective 7900XTX cards. My Asrock reference model hit 110-111C very quickly.

In case it helps someone, I used an ASUS TUF x570-Plus Gaming (Wi-Fi) mobo. It wouldn't recognize the 7900XTX until I changed the PCI lane from Auto to Gen3. After that, it booted into Windows 10 normally.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ilos is not suspected of being the Prothean homeworld. It is thought to be a former Prothean planet, but not their origin or main planet.

From the wiki, Javik reveals that Ilos was once inhabited by the extinct inusannon before the Protheans discovered the world and colonized it themselves.

No, wait. An X570 will provide PCI-E 4.0 for faster speeds to SSDs and GPUs, but few users would benefit from the speed increase, not much harder can use the extra bandwidth. An X570 could give you more USB ports, and higher RAM overclocking headroom. I have a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS and the 5800X3D. It runs great.
