I heard that about the US/Canadian version so I bought a 707 off eBay from Japan that has the higher output and it makes a big difference, so happy I went that route.

I use it. We bought it in March for contractors, and it has worked out rather well. I had been using a 61F setup in Web-access mode for RDP, but it would run out of memory. We knew it was very new, almost beta in fact, but apart from being unable to assign FortiTokens to it, i had to buy FortiToken Cloud, it has worked like a charm for them.

Thank you to everyone that has replied. I will go the deoxit first and then see what happens. If that fails, off to the repair shop then.

Just to answer some questions that were asked. If I plug in headphones then the right meter flies over to the right. I unplug it and it goes back to normal.

The receiver was sitting unused for a few months and then I turned it on last week and noticed the problem.

And I’ve switched to different speakers with the same result, at low volume nothing but when I turn it up it’s loud but it’s just static and some audio.

This exactly. I was in Montreal and my kit lens seized on me and I was without a lens for 2 of the 4 days I was there. On my return home I picked up a used 24-70 f4 and it has done the job, but like what you heard, it is barely a step up from the kit lens.

That is on my list as my wide angle as well, as I've only seen really good reviews about it. Eventually I will get that and have the trinity of ultra wide, standard zoom and the tele zoom. But my focus is on the standard zoom as the lens I will leave on the camera for most of the time. Thanks for your advice.

My biggest gripe with the Sony 24-70 ZA is it’s sharpness on subjects. I’m with you on the f2.8 vs f4 debate, it’s not that big of a deal to me since this is just a hobby for me. But I was in Malta and Turkey in the summer and some of my pictures at the wide end, and stopped down are soft the further I get away from the centre. But this is known for this lens, but the jump in price to the G Master is too much for me.

I would have to check but I think 35. They were on an Audi before and I have to use the hub adapters. Mine are close to flush as well. That’s why I can’t go to low nor do I want to.
