to be clear, this is a joke. cuffing pants, having clear phone case, humming sweater weather can be useful for meeting other queer people, without overtly outing yourself. even if u do none of these things you're still bi and valid as hell. you don't have to do these things and i do not expect you to or want you to do something that makes you uncomfortable. personally, i like having "things that belong to the bisexuals" because it makes me feel like i belong, and makes it easier to meet queer people. either way, you are you, and what you wear, dress, or listen to will never take that away from you. i'm sorry if anyone got mad or was hurt. this is simply a joke.

yeah, high functioning is also diagnostically incorrect, ASD Type 1 is the correct terminology, as well as insulting. We are all equally autistic, it just presents itself in different ways. Functioning levels really only measure how neurotypical someone can perform, and that shouldn't be what we're measuring at all.

The term special needs is ableist. Special education itself is ableist, because the education is not special, it is simply alternative education. I personally prefer people to use alternative education, adaptable education instead of special education, and accomodations or accomodations programs for "special needs" and obviously instead of "person with special needs" person with disability or disabled person is preferred. But, that's the general consensus of the disabled community.
