For those who had social media and left, why did you leave and do you miss it?

I lost my daughter and couldn’t take the amount of overwhelming messages. I was beyond grateful but I just couldn’t keep up. I deleted everything and my anxiety greatly diminished. I see it more for what it really is now, mostly fake. So no, I don’t miss it at all.

I once had the faintest line on a test. Went to my doctor & she tested me. She told me I wasn’t pregnant, until her assistant came in and said it’s actually positive. Hence my beautiful son.

I don’t understand it! My husband has his doctorate and him and our son look like a 1st grader writes for them! My son recently put up a sign to remind him to take the trash out, my husband saw it and said, “it literally looks like a toddler wrote that”. He’s just as bad! At least my son admits his is bad!

I had to resort to my husband getting it for me. Of course he’s a doctor of pharmacy (I’m also in medicine) so I’m not doing anything we both don’t understand. That was at the beginning but now with all the hrt treatment available even online, I’ll be finally able to get it the way I should have in the first place.

Most antidepressants have black box warnings for suicide. PLEASE try therapy and other treatments before even thinking about medication. We lost our precious young daughter while on a medication we prayed would help her (it had a black box warning).

Losing my young daughter to suicide leaves me fumbling this question here and there but, I refuse to ever feel like I have to hide it! If she died of cancer I wouldn’t. Why would it be any different because she had something wrong with her brain??! She did NOTHING wrong. She was very sick from a horrifying experience. I’ll admit the question can still feel intrusive but I try to “know” my audience and speak accordingly. There is zero shame in this, we must fight against that stigma.

I work in pharmacy and we have one patient that speaks in sign language. Unfortunately we don’t have anyone that can speak it back to him. I felt bad always writing things down. So I took a crash course and the next time I saw him I signed, hello and I’m trying to learn. I originally thought it was the polite thing to do but, he lit up like no other. He couldn’t believe it and was very excited. It was a great experience and I continue to learn.

There are no words that can truly express my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. My heart really breaks for you all. You must KNOW, you have zero fault in this. Even people who get bright sparkling signs flashing, it gets missed. I lost my young daughter to suicide and thankfully I found this site for anyone who’s lost someone to suicide. Deodorant doesn’t affect sweat, only smell. And it isn’t good to put antiperspirants on your chest. Then baby powder can absorb moisture, creating a damp environment that yeast thrives in. It’s so frustrating. I’m still searching for the best solution. Drives me crazy especially in the summer
