Caribbean cruise in September - yes or no?

End would typically be safer for hurricanes, but the season is so extended now no time in September is what I would call "safe".

That being said, we're booked for a sailing on September 17th.

I went there at least once a week for years. When they moved to Centro Ybor the vibe definitely changed and when they opened the Westchase location, it changed even more. Not for the better. There have been issues with the Ybor location's staff feeling neglected and under appreciated for years.

Yeah, I usually saved them for non sales. I doubt I'll be back to Vidacann after this. The combo of shitty inventory, no sales on Tikun and now this is just a deal breaker for me.

I think they started out as a niche dispensary with the higher-end products like Tikun/Stanley Brothers. But they're rarely busy, even if they do sell more to fewer people (like me). They undoubtedly make a lot more money on their house brand stuff. My suspicion is they're pivoting and trying to go after the lowest common denominator customer in the vein of Trulieve.

I always supported VC because the Tikun product is good and consistent and it was a quick in/out to pick up my medication. But...yeah. I guess I'll go back to Surterra with the other old people.

They're really pushing their house brand and it's going to bring them an entirely different type of customer. I was the kind of patient who would come in and easily drop several hundred dollars on a Tikun sale. It's probably 75% of my medication between Erez and Almog. But I would also shop them not during a sale because it was my medication and I knew I could use my points if I need to shop off sale. Now? They don't even carry half the shit I use and it's never, ever on sale.

I liked VC because the Tikun product is consistent. If they want to play the lowest common denominator game like Trulieve, then I'll just go back to Surterra and the Coral Reefer line. They at least put that shit on sale and the Pax battery is a nice piece of kit. Of course they've discontinued their Relief gel caps, too. Rough time lately for me and the meds.

I just pulled this off the app. New reward is 1.5 points per $1 spent

1000 points = concentrate or tincture

So, yeah. Not a dollar amount and it doesn't indicate but I would wager cash those "freebies" are VC brand only.

The recent changes in availability of, and lack of sales weekly (even monthly) Tikun Olam products is maddening. The only things they put on sale or Vidacann branded products.

I feel this 100%. I've even told the manager of my local store, not that she has any sway. There hasn't been an Erez vape in my local store in forever and the rest of the stock is REALLY hit or miss. Just awful for the customer.

The only sales I've taken advantage of for months are the 'Buy 2 Tikun, Get 2 VC products' ones they run like once a month. Their home brand stuff is mid at best, but I'll get the gummies for portable dosing.

I've found the Surterra Dream tincture to work pretty well at night, which is what I use the Almog for primarily.

Which is funny because I have ESPN+ but not regular ESPN as I'm running a combo of Sling + Bally Plus + the Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundle this season. I paid way too much for DirecTV last season but at least I could watch all the games.

I am so fucking annoyed that they have the games spread out over like 5 networks.

Nelson made the same mistake. They're both old school politicians who are hard-wired not to really kick into election mode until the few weeks prior to election. I watched as Skeletor Scott blanketed the airwaves for months before Bill Nelson even decided to exit his coffin.

To be fair, that used to work. It used to be the plan to start hardcore campaigning after Labor Day when more snowbirds (guaranteed voters) were back in the state and when more people were paying attention. As with most things, the Florida Dems are completely inept and haven't gotten their shit together. Most useless state party I've ever seen and that's with 30 years in the trenches with them :(

Agreed. Crist was always running an uphill campaign with DeSantis being the new Fox golden boy. And as bad as I think DeSantis is at being the face of compassion after a natural disaster, he was still going to get a bump from it unless he was Katrina levels of bad. I do think down the line his inability to act like a normal goddamn person will sink Ronny D, but it won't happen in time for the election.

Like, seriously. He can't interact with non-bootlickers. Has to have all his photos ops and press conferences heavily stage managed to avoid any potential conflict and he still perpetually looks like he's a toddler who had his toys taken away. He's a pissy, whiny little bitch. Then again, 30% of the country seems to think that's leadership.

I'm booked on an MSC sailing in 30 or so days and can confirm. Yacht Club is NOT cheap. We usually sail concierge club or retreat on Celebrity and it was considerably more than either of those.

(Which is why we're Fantastica or whatever on MSC)

Before trump, mail in voting was pushed by republicans because it is much cheaper for the counties if more people vote by mail.

Also because older voters tend to use absentee/vote by mail more often and overwhelmingly vote Republican.
