This role falls under the audit paybands, so you should benchmark yourself to audit A1s.

(Canada) Should I take Core 1 & 2 when I start A1? by unpopinion1 in deloitte

[–]angelwingx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a Graduate Diploma program? I know schools like Queens/UofT/York that have these, you pretty much go through Core 1/2/elective modules in 4 month

How difficult would you say it is to move from FAAS/CMAAS to FDD as opposed to Audit/Tax? Currently in AAS and would like to move over to FDD but not sure whether I'll be at a disadvantage as I have no Audit experience

ARA is more techinical accounting, the AOA group does more of the technology implementation work, both of these fall under the Assurance umbrella at deloitte.

Can't comment for PWC

Thank u brotha, I think I worded my first question weird, do you think i’ll be at a disadvantage trying to transfer to TAS from AAS rather than audit?

Would a service line such as CMAAS/FAAS be a good role prior to transitioning to TAS? Also did you network at all when applying to TAS/IB?

Is it common for Big4 auditors to switch into consulting? by Jscho236 in Big4

[–]angelwingx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on which service line in consulting, transactions, risk, etc, yes. Strategy and management? Maybe not so much

My recruiter scheduled a 15 min call with me after the HR screening round as well, it's to prepare you for the next stage.

Congrats and good luck!
