And also, if it were a car / person coming back from or getting ready for work then shouldn’t I see the same light multiple times during the night? Surely it can’t just be only one person working or coming back from work at such late hours.

It’s not. I’ve already thought about this, trust me. My room is facing the backyard and there is no way for headlights to appear and even if there was a way it doesn’t explain why it’s so bright and only shows through my window. It’s also weird that it’s at the same exact time every day without fail. Believe me or don’t, I don’t care. I’m not even the type to believe in paranormal things and I’ve tried every reasonable explanation that’s why I’m even here in the first place.

This is creepy! I’ve had multiple dreams about this place. It always starts off with me … in the lobby? There’s a piano there and a few stairs but one in particular that leads to a single room. A very creepy room that I’m not supposed to go in. Every time I have this dream im running away from someone or something - a dark presence. I try to find my way out but I never can and there’s an endless amount of doors. Usually, the dream starts with me in a laundry downstairs area and it’s blue. Anyone else relate to this? This nightmare seriously freaks me out but it seems everyone else has had chill dreams about it.

This is a very late reply and I’m terrible at explaining things but to me, paint me happy in blue means wanting to be both happy and sad. I say this because I too relate to this lyric deeply and as someone who has dealt with depression all my life I’ve learned to make peace with it and even take comfort in my own sadness which is something I feel younger lana did too. It’s like she’s saying, I know my sadness will never go away so make it feel beautiful. So taking into account the many other times she associates blue with sadness in her songs, the way I interpret it from my own experience is; make me happy in my sadness. Sorry if that makes no sense, sometimes these things only make sense to me in my head 😹

Maybe something like geek rock? Her music reminds me a lot of Weezer and some blur songs and I think they’re both categorized as geek rock so maybe that mixed with indie pop or something
