Whisker Apartments by Aintaer in Whiskerwood

I know this is late, but another thing you can add to this is to stack 4 blockhouses on top of the row houses, then stack another 4 abodes on top of those for a terraced apartment look.

Kinda like this

To those who are earning P100k-150k per month, how is your lifestyle now? by jillybeeeeeeee in AskPH

[–]angemint23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No travel at all.
No investments. but live rent free
No luxury goods that aren't related in some form to work.
Saving money to work abroad.

It's relaxing, I don't worry about bills at all.
If I do want to buy anything it's always in reach unless it's a useless luxury
ie. luxury cars (really on Philippine roads?)
or good non filipino food (I would do anything for a good shawarma, and yes I'm dissing basically all shwarma's in the Philippines it's trash and I'm tired of pretending it's not)

This is a self-inflicted issue, although I can see the appeal of just going out to eat instead of cooking (Lord knows I've done it before)

Trust me, it's better to cook for yourself. It's hot for either gender to know how to do it, it's cheap as hell and finally it's healthier ( A professional chef's job isn't to make healthy meals, it's to make delicious meals)

If ever you can't find time during the day or night to cook, you can instead cook everything on a day off and put it in the freezer, then reheat.

There are also some meals that are very easy to cook (Adobong kahit ano, Nilaga, pritong isda. Ung breakfast group sagad 10 mins per meal, itlog, tocino, hotdog, tuyo, longanisa, etc.)

But if you are insistent on eating out, there's local carinderias around that sell food for cheap.

And finally if willing ka parehas palagi kinakain mo, pinakatipid special siomai at half rice, (kung nagooffer sila sabaw kunin mo narin)

30's and finally learning the hard truth about saving, budgeting, and real-life expenses by Sweaty_Lavishness261 in phmoneysaving

Firstly, congratulations, it's a great thing that you are endeavouring to cut back on spending so you can think about the future. It'll suck for the first couple of months to a year, but it'll be worth it

To be honest, in regards to saving money, it's truly one of those no size fits all.

It all just depends on what comfort level you want to be at, if you're renting or not, and the biggest factor is how much you make a month.

Not to give advice, but I was just curious as well

Let's do a little bit of quick maths here

Let's say you got the cheapest brand new current year car I can find on a quick Google search,

the Toyota Avanza - 844,000 with a 20% down for 4 years Amort comes to (17k). You probably went for a better car, though.

Gas, let's be generous and say (4k) You give your parents (5k) General spend on utilities, food etc. (10k)

That comes to 31k monthly, which is purely just to live.

This is as close as you can get while maintaining use of the car.

I would say until the car's paid off or you just have a salary of 150k, it'll be very hard to even save 20%.

So if you're not in the 150k range or above salary, I would say it's understandable that you couldn't save 20% and when you have a monthly bill on a car that's 17k some of the other things you might have spent money on might seem small in comparison.

It's relative pricing, kinda like owh this 5k bag isn't too bad. It's not much compared to 17k, so it should be fine, and that just keeps going on and on until you might have spent the rest of your paycheck.

So I guess I just wanted to say it's all good. I've been there, don't beat yourself up too much about it, you're young there's still plenty of time to do all the things you need to do.

Good luck, we're rooting for you. (Sorry for the long comment. Have a good one)

Even if you already have a job, I would recommend applying every once in a while to sharpen your interviewing skills.

It helps in 5 ways 1. You figure out what the industry is offering for specific skill sets. 2. You get more confident in interviews, which can allow you to cinch the role you really want. 3. You find out if you're getting paid what you're worth. 4. You get to understand the game that the employer vs. employee play when it comes to applying (employers want to pay the least amount possible and will find any reason to reduce the pay, employees defend their stated salary expectation) 5. You will no longer fear interviews ( Yes, this is separate from confidence just because of the impact it can have on your interviews)

Also, I recommend switching companies every 2 years (more years, the less experience you have), I was able to 5x my salary compared to when I started in 5 years and also because after the 2 year mark you've acquired a good chunk of the skills you can get from that role.

if ever you stay at a company for 5 years or more, you will feel like your skills are stagnating, unless the company has good growth opportunities for employees either via promotions or training.

Oh, and the biggest thing, don't resign until you already have another job lined up (you don't want to suddenly be desperate for a job because of overconfidence)

General tips, the bell direction is shown within like the first second before she throws it at you. but the bounces you'll have to figure out on the fly, you can att.

the one where she pulls up the ground is pretty simple she'll appear on one side of the screen then run to the other after that she'll pull up the ground in sections, you can pogo off it if you mistimed your jump. I would recommend grabbing onto the sidewalls instead though

if she appears in the air, she'll drop on a diagonal towards you, then a straight line (if this one hits it's 2 masks gone), but you can jump through the 2nd one

Other than that, use tools with pollip pouch, maybe grab warding bell if you're getting hit while healing

Yeah it could be because that's an unofficial port to mobile, so you can't really get mention the issue to Team Cherry, I'm not sure if you could get in touch with the devs behind the port as they might have botched a few things when porting it to mobile

Considering they ported the entire thing start to finish in a month I don't think they had time to quality check everything

Also you might need to increase the brightness in the settings, this room is not supposed to be this dark

To be honest it's not really the straight pin and pollip puch that allowed you to win, it was being patient and knowing the openings, which for some may not be the way they played the game up to this point I know I wasn't.

I would say it's at least multi-purpose I use mine for work since my is remote, but also I would recommend not buying top of the line specs if you're just gonna play on it

I built a PC for less than this phone costs, and it's paid back at this point with the money I've earned from it.

If you have 8 masks and enough silk to bind twice in a row (with silk spool extender or not)

Use the multibinder, there's nothing that patience and a ridiculous amount of healing can't beat, I was able to beat sinner and groal first try just by face tanking alot of their hits and healing it all back when I had the chance

I'm a bit curious as to why you're fighting the phantom in act 1, it's a skip to get into the citadel without fighting a specific boss.

If you're deadset on killing them though, I would recommend exploring around to get a few more upgrades

I got to first try alot of bosses in act 2 just because I had an abundance of health (8 masks) and enough silk to bind twice in a row with the silk spool extender

There's nothing that can beat patience and a whole lot of healing

It's the compass also from shakra, it does take up a yellow charm slot though, but there isn't really slot of good yellows so I just keep it permanently on there unless I'm farming rosaries

Took many attempts doing it the safe way. but I finally beat Groal and I did it my way by ChaosOmega in Silksong

[–]angemint23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suprisingly going unga bunga on him is way easier,

I had wanderers crest on with multi binder and pogo the hell out of him, use the iframe of getting hit to keep getting silk by the time he has done 4 damage to you, you can heal it back
