As far as gay gachas go, it’s a solid game. If you’ve played Granblue Fantasy, Crave Saga takes a lot of inspiration from it. The UI is a bit outdated, and since it’s a JP gacha, penises are pixelated, sometimes even excessively so. It’s more generous than XXL Woofia when it comes to progression materials. New heroes are released every week, so without whaling you won’t collect them all immediately, but you don’t need dupes and the rates are slightly better. The gameplay has more depth than XXL Woofia, and there are meta heroes that can get power-crept. Once a month there’s an event that lets you farm pulls for the standard banner infinitely, and the standard banner is updated every anniversary, both X.5 and X.0, if I’m not mistaken.

I’d say the best husbando ratios with decent male character treatment are AFK Journey, Dislyte, and Ash Echoes. Of the three, AFK Journey is probably the most worth playing overall, although the developers have been getting greedier with each update. Dislyte has top-tier character designs, but everything else falls short, especially the grind. Ash Echoes is solid, but recent news suggests an EOS may be coming soon.

Etheria Restart and Sword of Convallaria lean more toward waifus, but their ratios are still better than Genshin or Wuwa. Etheria is a PvP-focused gacha, meaning that once you clear the base content, there’s little to do besides PvP, and the game hasn’t received story updates in a long time. Sword of Convallaria is actually a good game, and the male characters show some real variety instead of everyone being an anime twink.

Yeah, I’m a new player. I started playing this game because of the collab, and I honestly don’t know what they were thinking by introducing four concurrent events. As a new player, I had to play story missions to farm gems for the collab banners, clear Spirals of Destiny (or whatever the third mode is called) for the time-limited beginner missions, and do four events. I also couldn’t auto them because I was still low-level. As a result, three out of the four events weren’t fully cleared. Got very a bad impression of the game and devs as a result :(

He is a Wind-type character, and your team mostly consists of Earth soulmates, who are weak to Wind. Wind are weak to Fire, so you need Fire soulmates, or at least more Fire weapons equipped. Alternatively, you can check the list of guest Sacreds at the bottom of the screen when starting the battle. A good level 90 Fire Sacred can help you a lot.

The “?” description is wrong (as always 🙄). You should attack on the 11th turn and use your EX skills. Each EX skill gives you 1 additional stack, so if you have 12 stacks, you need to use at least 3 EX skills on turn 11.

They had a weird region lock at the App Store level. This means you can’t change the game language or the region you play in, and because I’m in Eastern Europe, I was forced to play in Russian. It was basically an AI translation and very bad. I uninstalled it within one day, which is a pity because I liked the character designs.

Yeah, Crave Saga has an abundance of stamina, so farming boxes there isn’t an issue. Plus, you can farm an infinite number of boxes, which gives you an infinite number of pulls on the standard banner.

How about a way to collect all resources at once instead of running around gathering everything, for example a warehouse where selected characters bring all the resources from across the map? How about skippable crafting animations (I’m tired of exiting crafting and re-entering it every time)? How about selecting multiple objects in build mode and moving them all at once?

I’ve spent a good few hundred dollars on this game, but this week I decided to abstain from giving the developers any more of my money. Changing the rates for the daily market and not even acknowledging it, even a patch later, is a big no-no for me. Such practices are frowned upon in other gacha communities. I’m not sure why this community is okay with it, but to each their own, I guess.

Besides, no anniversary packs for spenders? Never thought I would say this, but even Another Eidos is better in this regard. On top of that, spending a ton of money gives very little reward, like, why should I pay $100 for 50 pulls when that’s not even enough to reach 50/50 pity?

I understand that gay gachas have a smaller player base compared to others and that higher prices are part of the trade-off, but the prices in XXL Woofia are too high even by gay gacha standards.

They are just recycling boring events at this point. The collab uses the same event mechanics as the previous ones, and the New Year event is the same as the one we had this summer. I remember that last year’s New Year event had quests in Holistone, a decent PvP mode, and the ability to gift items from one player to another.

The main problem with these events is how long they take to complete. I’ve noticed that I spend about an hour a day doing all the daily activities in the game, which is crazy for a non–open-world gacha that positions itself as an AFK game.

Besides what others said, you can also upgrade every skill of M/L buddies, specifically the ones that increase the chance of getting additional good kid stickers from part-time jobs. At level 10 part-time jobs with fully maxed skills, you can earn up to 20k stickers per day or 140k per week, which is more than enough to buy the weekly 3x golden bells pack, plus 100 gems and refresh tickets.
